Gabriel Gressie (1959)
A little introduction to yours truly:
Ever since I was a child I knew I wanted to be a fine artist. Truth be told, I don't think I could do anything else simply because my mind is always occupied and racy and filled with art. One word, one event immediately translates into a visual story. My work will tell you the same - they're painted stories. I can envision them as soon as I step foot in my studio. My head full of ideas and visions; animal actors shining on stage with their frivolous nature trying to peep into the world staring back at them between toys, antiques, fruit. Still lives I want to call them but frivolous as they are they sure can make a mess of things.
These mischievous little friends are a handful, but make my life as an artist never dull and inspire me to paint my inner world to this day.
